Winter Rose Facial Collection
4 steps to glowing winter skin

As we settle into the cozy, cold days of winter our delicate skin might not be as jolly as our spirits. Simply put, skin likes consistency and gets a little moody when it's put through harsh extremes. Whether it be the blustery weather, heating systems in our homes, or lifestyle changes we make in the winter like taking long, hot showers or enjoying time in nature, our skin can become dry, cracked, flushed, or inflamed. The plummeting humidity and temps make our skin work harder to maintain adequate hydration which can cause some serious issues for us if we don't do things to nurture it during this time. Finding yourself a little rough around the edges? Roses to the rescue!

Rosehips offer us deep moisturization with nourishing fatty acids that help combat inflammation and promote cell regeneration and also a vitamin-packed cocktail that helps speed up healing, prevents breakouts, and promotes hydration giving you a radiant glow, making it a legit skin savior. It helps improve the skin's elasticity and collagen production too! High amounts of Vitamins A, C, and E, and cellular building blocks, particularly oleic, palmitic, linoleic, and gamma-linolenic acids give rosehip a lot of anti-inflammatory properties that can help calm down redness and flare-ups and can be used to reduce hyperpigmentation and scarring, as well as evening out skin tone and smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s especially good for aging or delicate skin.

Step 1: Exfoliate with Winter Rose Face Polish. Rosehip oil is considered a natural exfoliate by itself due to the high amount of enzymes! With the added help of sugar, this exfoliant sloughs off dead skin cells, releasing built-up dirt + grim. This helps make way for fresh new skin cells, boosts circulation and lymphatic drainage, detoxes your skin while stimulating collagen production leaving your skin toned revealing a youthful glow! All this allows for future products to work their magic more efficiently.

How to use: This is the 1st of 4 steps in our winter face care routine. Rinse face with WARM (not hot) water, gently massage the scrub all over the face, being sure to be extra gentle around eye area.  Don't forget those hit those luscious LIPS TOO!

Step 2: Goop it on, Mask Time! This face mask is sure to deeply hydrate your skin leaving it silky smooth. As the mask sets, the fatty acids of the roses go to work strengthening your cell walls so that they don't lose water turning you into a glowing winter goddess. The coconut milk's combination of high copper, vitamin c + e, and fatty acid content help to further reverse free radical damage and deliver loads of anti-aging benefits to your skin. Vitamin A packed rosehips, detoxifying + pore tightening French green clay, marshmallow root's high mucilage content will soothe your skin and quench its thirst during these cold winter days.

How to use: Mix 1 Tablespoon of powder with equal parts of hot tap water or your choice of liquid (the toner is lovely) and let sit until cool or while you are exfoliating during step 1. Apply a thick layer of the good goo to your face & let sit for 10 mins or until dry. Rinse with water. Follow up with the Winter Rose Toner.

Step 3: Smile through the mist. This toner is something special, not only does it give you a boost of hydration, but it is sure to lift your spirits and melt stress. Rose aroma has been shown to have anti-depressant benefits as it is traditionally used to calm and uplift. Soothing rose hydrosol, nourishing aloe vera, and hydrating alcohol-free witch hazel has all been infused with hibiscus that helps dissolve blackheads, calms breakouts, evens skin tone, and balances ph. Hard not to crack a grin when you're spritzing this on.

How to use: Hold the bottle about 18 inches away from the face, spritz, and smile before applying winter rose oil.

Step 4: Lock it in! This face oil is formulated with of course rosehip oil, but also other in-season oils like elderberry and macadamia nut. Nature has a beautiful way of supplying us with what we need when we need it most. All the oils we have used in this deeply hydrating facial oil benefit ALL skin types from acne to aging. The structure of sterols in Elderberry is similar to the skin's own cholesterols, which means they support the healthy function of the lipid layer. A healthy lipid layer = smooth + soft skin. Macadamia is fully loaded with vitamin E making it the dry skin hero. Powerfully packed with antioxidants, EFAs, and vitamins giving your skin the ammo it needs to protect and repair the skin barrier. It's also very high in manganese, an antioxidant and essential mineral required for collagen production. . Rosehip oil is also full of vitamin A and also has a ton of astringent properties that help tighten your pores and brighten your skin helping to maintain a healthy glow.  This oil gives you exactly what you need when you need it.

How to use: Apply a few pumps of oil to fingertips. With light pressure massage oil in circular motions all over the face. Use the ring fingers to gently pat oil around the eye area. Let skin fully absorb the oil through the night or before applying makeup.

Winter Rose Line
5 Stars

I purchased this whole line because my skin never seemed to be hydrated no matter how much moisturizer I used. I have seen immediate results! My skin is clear and moisturized and ready for the winter! And the line smells amazing if you like the smell of roses

This stuff is magical

I’ve been using the winter rose collection for the past two months...and it is UNBELIEVABLE. I’ve gotten other products from Good Stuff Botanicals, but somehow this combination is a magic elixir for my skin. I normally have very dry skin, but also struggle to absorb oils (including other oils here, like Looking Sharp). The Winter Rose products have left my skin feeling wonderful, and looking wonderful, and smells so lovely that I’ve actually started looking forward to my nightly ritual. The face oil is light but extremely moisturizing. In fact, I love these products so much that I stocked up on extra and am storing it for summer...because I’m afraid for when they’ll go out of seasonal stock. :(

Just like new!

After recommending Gypsy Cream to everyone and anyone complaining of skin issues I decided to treat myself! I had religiously used all the good stuff but after having a baby I neglected my skin. A week into using the Winter Collection my skin is glowing! My pores are shrinking! And I smell like roses. So glad I made a return to taking care of my skin with The Good Stuff!

Wonderful products! This collection is perfect for those winter pamper sessions! Deep hydration that leaves my skin silky smooth without feeling oily. I loved it so much I bought extra!

Perfect!

I am new to the Good Stuff product world but will continue to be a devoted user. My latest purchase was the winter rose collection. It may be useful to new users that the scent of the face oils I have used so far ( winter rose and the fall pumpkin oil) have light fragrances. These are not the typically highly scented facial products. I use the “looking sharp” oil in the a.m. and the rose in the evening before bed because my husband who is sensitive to scent isn’t fond of the “looking sharp”. The toner is light and refreshing and I appreciate that the mask is in powder form so that I can add my own preferred liquid to it. The surprise for me was the face polish! It was a larger granule scrub than I had imagined it would be but had a stronger scent than the face oil . It was a definite pampering experience and my skin felt amazingly soft! When purchasing the fall face oil I decided against the set and purchased it by itself. However, I will definitely be purchasing the face oil and scrub based of the rose scrub!

I bought the whole facial routine and I absolutely love each and everyone of the Items!

Lovely!

I happened to accidentally stumble upon this set before it was officially announced and bought it instantly. I love Good Stuff Botanicals already, but then add roses and rose hip oil and I’m sold! I tried the entire line after receiving it and it is just lovely. My skin was refreshed and glowing afterwards. I am 40 and the dryness in our winters always sends my skin in to chapped mode, but the rose set revives it. Highly recommended.
