Our Arnica herbal oil is prepared in small batches from fresh flowers that we responsibly and sustainably wildcraft ourselves each spring in the small window just before the buds fully open when the plant is at peak potency.  Arnica helps heal and decreases inflammation, relieves pain and soreness, helps to decrease bruising and risk of infections. A wonderful addition for anyone's first-aid kit. 

Traditional & Historic Uses: 

Arnica has been used for medicinal purposes since the 1500s.
Greek physicians of the first century recommended the plant for a variety of issues like:

• boils
• bruises
• contusions
• edema
• insect bites
• joint pain (including rheumatic conditions)
• sprains
• phlebitis
• thrombosis
• muscle pain
• alopecia neurotica (sudden hair loss after a disease or injury in which the nervous system was involved)
• unbroken chilblains (painful inflammation of small blood vessels in the skin occurring in response to sudden warming from cold)
